Vision for the Future – Role of Media
Sunday, 8 December 2019 - 3:00pm to 6:30pm

The pen is mightier than the sword. - Edward Bulwer-Lytton

The condition of the world is witnessing rapid deterioration. People are apprehensive about the future of their lives and the world at large.  Powers sitting on stockpiles of nuclear weapons have begun to threaten their adversaries.

The climate has changed dramatically over the last few years. Cyclones and freak weather conditions have become frequent. The basics like the air and water are increasingly becoming hazardous for human health.

Increased levels of stress, worry, fear and doubt have pervaded everyone’s lives. According to WHO, depression has become the leading cause of disability worldwide.

We understand that the collective unrighteous actions of human beings are the root cause of disorder and chaos in the world.

Can people be motivated to perform righteous actions? What can bring about a shift in the attitude? Is there a way to create a better world order based on human values?

We invite concerned media persons to share their views and provide guidelines, so that together we can work towards a better tomorrow. With this aim, the Brahma Kumaris has organized a seminar themed ‘Vision for the Future – Role of Media’ at its retreat centre in Gurugram on Sunsay 8 December 2019, from 3pm to 6.30pm.
