“Exploring Maths for Digital India”

On 130th birth anniversary of great mathematician late Srinivasa Ramanujan, Rajyoga Education & Research Foundation (RERF), SpARC Wing (Spiritual Application & Research Center), the Brahma Kumaris sister concern, is pleased to offer a workshop on ‘Exploring Maths for Digital India’ specially for maths teachers of 6th to 12th standard. This is to emphasize the use of technology and innovative tools and techniques for teaching and learning mathematics.

Many students today suffer from maths-phobia. The issue stems from a negative mindset and results in lack of self-confidence, fear of failure and shying away from the subject. To overcome this, a need to bring some change in our traditional teaching methods is felt by many. So, to discuss the latest researches and development in mathematics, with the blend of latest technology along with methods of our old ancient education system, we are organizing this workshop on Wednesday, 13th December, 2017 from 9:00am to 1:30pm for maths teachers at Brahma Kumaris, Om Shanti Retreat Center, NH-8, Bhora Kalan, Pataudi Road, Bilaspur Chowk, Distt- Gurgaon.

The training would be given by Guinness World Record holders, Dr Aditi Singhal & Dr Sudhir Singhal.

 

Objectives of the workshop:

§  Use of latest technology in learning maths

§  Introducing Maths Talk Time in classrooms

§  Empowering students to learn
